There was nothing wrong with the old format.
No one is safe again cause there Are much games to play
This new format will definitely open up the domestic leagues with more high-pressure games throughout the campaign instead of the last 16 phase and onwards.
And more games a season than ever before.
Any team hoping for a treble or quadruple in their own league will be non-existent with this format and extra games.
There are some juicy games in there, which has improved the last set up where you had one group of death and the rest strolling through to the last 16
Bad format
I'm really excited for this format. I hated it until i played it on fm24. It was a lot of fun lol.
The laughingly named Champions League is the Mickiest of all Mickey Mouse competitions. Completely devoid of integrity. I've not watched a game for well over a decade, choosing to do the right thing and support our domestic cup competitions. No doubt all eight teams from the groups qualify for the next round where they play each other twice in Dubai and Hong Kong with the losers going into the Europa league quarter finals. Its so utterly pathetic it beggars belief. Football is absolutely dead and buried.
