Both Finals were on my Birthday 😢😢. 09 I was 15 turning 16 and didn’t really understand what I was witnessing with that Barca team, tbf I was drunk but I realised that they were different. But 2011 I was 17 and fully invested in football and….nah……they demolished us, even Rooneys goal was lucky. 2011 was a mauling and a footballing lesson.

stop act like Barcelona matches w😢eren't boring asf. Just pass pass pass. fuck that. I want to see skill with the ball and flare from individual players like street ball. That's y English media criticized Brazilian and flare players from different countries because the European way is pure kick and run like their favorite player and players . Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, CR7 , Zidane , Robinho etc those players make me want to watch football. if I qant to see pass pass pass , kick and run , I go watch school boy football. I want to see assist coming from off players chest and back like real pros and not just pass pass pass like school boys

The delusion is still funny because I vividly remember this time. Only in England they were expecting United to win. I'm from the Netherlands and everyone was expecting Barca to win with their brilliant football.

it was just that the tactics employed by Pep and Barcelona at the time were new and something that the world had not seen since the Cruyff days. Sir Alex was the master of adapting his teams and tactics to new challenges, just like he did after initially losing to Wenger Mourinho Ancelotti Mancini and Benitez. After facing Pep twice, they had a showdown in the USA and Sir Alex won that 2-1 showing that he had already started figuring out Pep's tactics. If Sir Alex had not retired, he'd have adapted to the Pep challenge and beaten him just like he did with Wenger Mourinho Ancelotti, etc.

Man u lacked a good tactical manager who knows how to counter that Barcelona, despite having good players sometimes you just cant play the way youre used to.

Thats why Real Madrid has been the best team in the world the past decade, their plasticity, how easy the adapt to the match amd situations, how despite they being really good with the ball they arent afraid to play without it, etc

Fergie showed he (as a manager) just isnt on the same level as Guardiola. Why do i say as a manager? Cuz fergie was more than just a manager for Man U

That’s my boys … the best team ever recorded in history !
2011 we made you look like a pub side … fergie and Ferdinand’s words !
I was there 2011 at Wembley … the best day of my life !! Better than the birth of my children 😮😮😂😂
