So if Liverpool is the best team in the world, why are they behind city?
Liverpool is praised for reaching 3 champions League finals in 5 years but will city be praised for reaching two consecutive champions League finals,
People are hoping and praying Liverpool wins the 4 trophies, when they haven't even win two as yet.
It would be sad to see the team praised as the best (not one of the best) the best only ends the season with one trophy…
But I guess everyone who jus say they slipped up not because city played better and won but because Liverpool had bad luck, but i can't wait to see the conclusion at the end of the season tho

It pains me as a Liverpool fan to still see us behind a city in the league……I just don’t see City dropping points from here so we really blew our chance at the quadruple when we lost to Leicester at end of December, or when we blew a 2-0 lead to Chelsea to end up with a draw…..Either way, keep pushing Reds!! ???

And to think how lucky Diaz is,if he went to Spurs he would have been a nobody and yet now at Liverpool everyone will know his name if they didnt .The guy dodged a major career ending move right there.

I don’t think any team will ever win the quadruple! Ever! But I think Liverpool will win one more trophy this season. Will it be the fa cup, the premier league or the big one the European cup again for the 7th time?

Credit is due to Thiago and Keita after that first half which nearly cost Liverpool the tie. They came out in the second half and kept the ball nearly every time they got it and that's been the difference so far in this second half (along with the obviously elite Luis Diaz).
