The game’s kick-off was delayed by 36 minutes amid security concerns that Uefa initially blamed on the lateness of Liverpool fans and the French government are now blaming on an influx of fake tickets. The tone of the Guardian's video here contrasts markedly with the BS video it posted about the Europa League final 2 weeks ago when the happy carnival atmosphere generated by Eintracht and Glasgow Rangers fans was similarly tarnished by police heavy-handedness and stadium disorganisation / confiscation of personal possessions, including medication, on a whim. I wonder why that is?

The whole mass mugging thing is especially disturbing. It’s a bit like the Rio Olympics, where gangs of youths were just preying on people right out in the open.
