It is dumb as shit. Some clubs will play man ciy, man utd, real mardid, barca, psg… And others will play viktoria plzen, psv and all the weak clubs. So, UNFAIR

And tbh I honestly don't think this a bad idea but I really don't see the point in the extra play-off round. Honestly, they should just have 16 teams advance to the knockouts and have the next 8 teams play in a play off with 8 teams from the Europa League for a spot in the Europa League knockout round.
I honestly think it would have been better if they had just gone for 6 groups of 6 or maybe even 7 groups of 6.
